I used to go to this place in Newcastle in the mid 80's. It was an allnighter can't remember the name now, but it was quite big as i remember with a balcony and loads of little alcoves.
I was one of the Wakefield Soul Agents.Mystery and the Leeds lot and us Wakey lot used to get a coach up there. One of the Wakey lot (Dave Moston ) was seeing a young lady up there caaaaaaalled(can't remember now).
Good times up there mate.

Hi mate,
Davey Longstaff's still kicking around - in fact when I took a back seat (virtually stopped going tbh) at the Northern Faces SC (Whitley Bay it was Scottish Stu & Davey Longstaff who took over the organising of the club - probably find his contact in Scootering Magazine - he lives 2 streets away from me - top bloke! He helped me at my Soul Night at Blackfriars Hall by doing the door when Pete (Outrigger) was up. Mr Dave Tomlinson - he's still around but has been been living down the coast for a number of years. I spoke to him in Whitley Bay where he now lives - I used to see him everyday though, he used to live next door here in Cullercoats.
Tommy Ogle is rarely around - but is often seen trading at markets & carboot fairs doing a mean line in socks and undercrackers! Big Mal is at every Soul Night I put on (2nd Saturday of the month at The Berkeley Tavern, Whitley Bay). Other names from the past who are there are Dave Snowden, Dob, Gazza White and DJing with me Bri Dodds (Ashington Beerpigs SC) and we've known some of the Dogcatchers SC make an appearance. At Mapped Out do's I work with Tony Eastlake (Wansbeck SC - late '70's) & Dave "Weller" Gooch, who I'm sure a few will know if not by name by reputation! Someone mentioned Stacey - could that be Stacey who's married to "Chinky Phil" from Gateshead?
Me - I don't know coz I was in Northampton when all these were pups.
Hope taht's helped the search!

anybody remember Mo-Tech before Paul had it, run by Angelo and his wife, (she used to polish the scooters seat that much, ya used to slip all off the feckin thing.)

Good memories

Bought my first 150 Super of Dave at 16, never looked back for 5 years.

Remember Andy the Butcher, Lesley B, Stu (Boro), Big Rob (N/SH), Chris Spring, Ben and his bro Andy, Peter and Guy Roberts.

The night the Mayfair was busted.. (what a party we had at my flat that night)

Feck me the more I think about it, the more the memories flood back.

Happy times, never to be seen again.
